Chiwhan Yoon Appointed Deputy CEO of Daedong USA;
Douglas Kang Named CEO of Daedong KIOTI Europe

KIOTI Europe today announced a leadership
transition effective 1st January 2026, underscoring Daedong’s
ongoing commitment to global growth and organizational excellence.
After one year of dedicated service as CEO of
Daedong KIOTI Europe, Mr. Chiwhan Yoon has been appointed Deputy CEO of Daedong
USA. During his tenure, Mr. Yoon led significant growth initiatives despite a
challenging European market environment. Under his leadership, KIOTI Europe
achieved sales growth, strengthened organizational operations, and further
enhanced its dealer channel. Combined with more than 25 years of experience and
recent global leadership roles, these achievements make him uniquely qualified
to lead Daedong USA into its next chapter.
KIOTI Europe extends its sincere appreciation to
Mr. Yoon for his leadership and contributions and wishes him continued success
in his new role.
Reflecting on his transition, Mr. Yoon stated:

Effective 1st January 2026, and in
accordance with a top management decision, Mr. Douglas Kang has been appointed
CEO of KIOTI Europe, while concurrently serving as Head of the Overseas Sales Division
for Daedong. Mr. Kang brings strong global sales expertise, having

served for approximately three years as an overseas
sales executive in Daedong’s headquarters sales division. Prior to joining
Daedong, he spent many years building extensive international business
experience at LG Electronics.
Commenting on his appointment, Mr. Kang said:

great honour to lead KIOTI Europe at such a pivotal time. Europe represents a
dynamic and strategically critical market for KIOTI’s mid and long-term growth.
With a clear goal of achieving a 6% market share in Europe within the next five
years, we will develop and execute tailored strategies aligned with the unique
market characteristics and customer needs of each key country. By leveraging
innovative products and services, along with a strong dealer and partner
network, we will drive sustainable growth and firmly establish KIOTI as a
trusted brand across Europe.”
Focus and Strategy for 2026
Although the CEO role has changed as of January
2026, KIOTI Europe’s strategic agenda and business goals remain unchanged. The
company’s primary focus for 2026 includes:
- Achieving 3% market share (M/S) in Europe
- Expanding overall sales volume
- Increasing the proportion of medium and large tractor sales, building
on the sales and organizational growth achieved in 2025
- Advancing digital transformation by launching an ERP system to further
computerize and streamline company operations
